6,700W solar array paired with 15kWh of battery storage, designed to keep an entire Bay Area home running through a PG&E outage.
This Bay Area homeowner wanted more than a lower electric bill — they wanted the lights, refrigerator, and home office to keep running no matter what PG&E was doing. We designed a 6.7kW rooftop array sized to their year-round usage and paired it with 15kWh of battery storage, enough to carry essential and high-priority circuits through a multi-day outage.
Because this was a whole-home backup design rather than a partial critical-loads setup, our team spent extra time modeling the home's actual draw — HVAC, kitchen appliances, and daily usage patterns — to make sure the battery bank was sized correctly instead of oversold or undersized.
The result: a system that pays down the electric bill every month and automatically switches to stored solar the moment the grid drops, with no manual intervention from the homeowner.
14.52kW · 40kWh EnphaseA 14.52kW solar array spread across a complex, multi-facet roof, paired with four Enphase IQ Battery 10C units for 40kWh of whole-home storage.
17 panels + EVA 17-panel Enphase microinverter system installed on a concrete tile roof, with a Level 2 EV charger added for overnight vehicle charging.
21kW · 3× PowerwallA 21kW solar array paired with three Tesla Powerwalls, producing up to 100kWh per day for a home built around energy independence.
A 23.4kW ground-mount solar array engineered for a sloped, wooded lot, paired with three FoxESS batteries for 59.55kWh of whole-property storage.
