This estate-style home's roof has more than a dozen distinct facets and pitches, which made panel placement the real engineering challenge on this project. We mapped every plane individually — working around dormers, chimneys, and sightlines from the pool deck — to fit 33 panels across the roof without disrupting the home's look from the ground.
We used Enphase IQ8 microinverters throughout, so every panel on every facet performs and reports independently regardless of which direction it faces or how much shade it picks up at different times of day — critical on a roof with this much complexity.
For storage, we installed four Enphase IQ Battery 10C units for a combined 40kWh of capacity, mounted in matched pairs flanking a rear window alongside the system's Enphase combiner and disconnect equipment.
