Solar Engineering designs and installs every system in-house — no subcontracted crews, no one-size-fits-all templates. Your roof, shading, and energy usage drive the design, and our licensed team handles permitting, installation, and PG&E interconnection from start to finish.

System types we install

• Grid-tie — the most common and cost-effective setup, offsetting your PG&E usage with rooftop solar.
• Hybrid — solar paired with battery storage for backup power and better NEM 3.0 economics.
• Off-grid capable — full independence from the utility for homes that want maximum energy resilience.

Equipment we use

We install premium solar panels from REC, Hyundai, SEG, JA Solar, and SilFab, paired with Enphase microinverters, Tesla Powerwall, EG4, Sol-Ark, FranklinWH or other energy storage systems. Every component is carefully selected for long-term reliability, performance, and value—not just the lowest upfront cost.

How the process works

• Design — site visit, roof and usage analysis, custom system sizing
• Permitting — we pull all city and county permits for you
• Installation — typically completed in 1–3 days
• Interconnection — we handle PG&E paperwork and activation

The full timeline from design to activation usually runs 4–8 weeks, and every install includes a 10-year workmanship warranty on top of manufacturer warranties on panels and inverters.
